Beer Pong + Stuck in Elevator

As mentioned in the previous post, Saturday was an eventful day.

After Golden Gate Park, my friends and I went to Kate's to play some beer pong. It was my first time playing beer pong and it's actually pretty fun. :) The night was filled with A LOT of beer (60 cans of Coors and 24 bottles of Miller!), food, drinking games and having fun.

It became a very long night [ I fell asleep as you can see in the pictures :P ]. We didn't leave Kate's until about 2 and then eight of us got stuck in the elevator!! ack. First time experiencing that too. The SF fire department quickly rescued us in less than half an hour. Thank you! :) It was so freaking hot in that elevator... I wanted to document it some more but my camera ran out of batteries. :(

Saturday...ahhh...Good times. :)

Red Bull Soapbox Race

Wowza. Saturday was a day full of events. It was absolutely gorgeous in SF and a perfect day to hang out with my friends and relax...or get our drinking on. :P

The day started off with an excellent meal in Emeryville at Wally's. My friend, Mike, drove my boyfriend and I back to the city to watch the Red Bull Soapbox Race in Dolores Park [ I finally went to one! :D ]. We got there around 1:15 and there were soooo many people. I don't think I've seen that many people in one place in a long time! I was in complete awe of how many people there were. A ton of hipsters, of course, since it's the Mission. ;)

It was a bit of a drag that we had to watch the race on screen and couldn't see the soapboxes that close, but it was still fun hanging out, enjoying the sun and swigging a small bottleof very strong and harsh Jim Beam. :X

Afterwards, we met up with some other friends and went to Golden Gate Park to hang out some more, but it was way too chilly to stay long.

Mike was determined to play beer pong since he bought a table, so we went to my friend, Kate's place around 5 and...that became a very long night...
